In August, The SBRY sponsors the Sharon on the Green Art Show. This event is a major fund-raiser for the programs sponsored by the SBRY.
The event is also a fund-raiser for the Sharon Center School Eighth Grade and part of the fees collected from the event are contributed to the trip the group takes in the spring of every year.
Craftspeople. artists and artisans from far and wide make this event a “must attend” show, as it is always well attended.
The show uses all of the Upper Green from the library to the Methodist Church. (The length of Upper Main Street).
Food and beverage vendors are also in attendance for the comfort of the visitors.
We encourage local craftspeople, artists and artisans to submit their work for review and potential inclusion in the show. There is not a finer event locally to highlight their work.
The Sharon Beach Ball
The Annual SBRY Beach Ball is our main fundraiser each year.
The event is held each summer at the town beach and caters to beach fun for all families.
The funds raised by an admission fee are used for a variety of purposes,including capital improvements and the purchasing of recreational equipment.
